The Hawaii No Ka Oi College ID Camp has been organized first and foremost to provide our members of Hawai'i Youth Soccer Association (HYSA), the opportunity to be scouted and identified by Collegiate, Professional and National team staff right here in Hawai'i.
HYSA is pleased to offer this opportunity for our student-athletes in a professional and objective environment. Many of our top youth and college coaches, administrators and volunteers have come together to organize the Hawaii No Ka Oi College ID & ODP Sub-Regional Camp. It will be an open and honest college identification opportunity for the players in a club-neutral environment.
With the resources and the power of the State Association we have invited College Coaches from across the country at every level to join us for the weekend; to see our players compete in their own environment, while saving hundreds, if not thousands of dollars it would normally cost to travel. Instead, we have brought the coaches to the players.
We know that many soccer players from Hawaii have gone on to perform well in many College programs across the country, at every level. A few more have succeeded beyond that, with the US National Team and at the pro level.
In 2018, we added the Olympic Development Program (ODP) component to the camp by inviting the Region and National Staff to the camp for possible invitations to the Regional and National camps and player pools. Come out and be a part of the Hawaii No Ka Oi College ID & ODP Sub-Regional Camp.
